　　那年月（文革期间），残荷无人收，直到冬天，冻成僵尸，有依然站立的，有已经倾倒的。冰天雪地中居然飞来一只红蜻蜓，以她身体的红色来凭吊冤魂。

There was a time, during the Cultural Revolution, when no one bothered to clear away shriveled lotuses. When winter came, they were frozen rigid, like corpses, some fallen askew, some still standing erect. Into this desolate scene of snow and ice flew a dragonfly, the redness of its body a reminder of the hovering spirits of the dead which could not be laid to rest because the wrong they suffered had not been righted.
